Kelly Jarrett - 70.3 World Champion!!
Minimize

What a big weekend for Kelly Jarrett racing the 70.3 World Championships in
Clearwater Florida. These girls were racing with the best Age Group and
Professional Triathletes in the world.

If you haven't already heard (text at 5.15am Sunday morning) Kelly Jarret
has had the race of her career so far (way more to come), becoming the new
70.3 World Champion in her 25-29 age group in a blistering time of 4:13:49.

Kelly winning this championship was no accident.

Kelly had a dream to be the World Champion - this has been a plan we have
been working on for over 12 months. There had been a lot of blood sweat and
tears for both of us.

Kelly Jarrett truly deserves this World Championship Trophy.

I could keep going on about how Kelly has beaten over 30 of the worlds best
professional female triathletes and the enormous heart and drive that Kelly
Jarrett uses day in day out working 70-80 hours a week and training 20-30
hours a week but that would give too much away.

Some other magnificent achievements for Kelly on race day:

Race finish Time 4:13:49 - 6th Fastest Female Overall / 1st Australian
Female Overall / 2nd Female Age Grouper Overall.

Swim Time 0:29:50 PB
Ride Time 2:14:51 - 1st in 25-29 age group / 5th Fastest overall Female
Run Time 1:24:38 - 1st in 25-29 age group / 5th Fastest overall Female
