Melbourne & Geelong Ironman Camp

If Ironman is in your future, then this is the camp for you. This is your chance to get firsthand knowledge of your upcoming Ironman course, and learn techniques to optimize your race-day performance from the Tribal Coaches. During this two and a half day camp, you will learn energy conserving techniques for the swim, the ins and outs of the bike course, and pacing and fueling strategies for the run.

As course reconnaissance is a primary focus of this camp, we will be spending our training time on the Ironman course to prepare you for your best Ironman finish. Receive valuable knowledge of the open water course.

Preview the bike course like a pro with complete ride support with Endura nutrition products and certified professional mechanics. Our TriBal Coaches will be on course with you to help with riding technique, pacing strategies, and on-course nutrition choices. This will also be a great long training ride to get your legs and arms prepared for race conditions.

Depending on the Ironman course, you will be running between 16 and 28kms during the run course reconnaissance. You will be able to get a feel for every uphill and false flat the course has to offer. This offers a great opportunity to try out the nutrition tips you learned from our nutrition session.

Just getting to the start line of an Ironman can be a hectic and stressful experience, so to reduce your stress level and make sure your Ironman weekend goes smoothly, we will make sure you are aware of the process required to successfully navigate through an Ironman weekend, from the time you get into town until the time you leave. And since TriBal is on the cutting edge of endurance sports, we’ll also bring new training and competition gear for you to try out, as it becomes available. For example, at recent camps we’ve had Blueseventy Wetsuits and Myotest run analysis equipment for athletes to test out.

Triathlon Performance Training Camps

If you are looking to take your triathlon performance to the next level this is the camp for you. This is nothing like any clinic you may have experienced before. This two and a half day camp is focused on giving you the tools to walk away a more prepared and confident triathlete. The TriBal Coaches will guide you through the TriBal Running and Cycling Field Tests, and then analyse the results to establish personal training ranges for your workouts. These training ranges can be utilized on a daily basis to increase the precision of your training sessions. You will also spend time in the water learning drills, technique, and having your stroke specifically analysed for improved efficiency. To ensure you’re optimally prepared on race day, you will also receive a TriBal Event Day Nutrition Plan designed specifically for you and the event you’re preparing for. Our nutrition team will take into consideration your nutrition needs and your upcoming event to create a step-by-step plan to stay well hydrated and well nourished.

Premium or above coaching: Preparing for an Ironman is often a year-long or multi-year process, and we have a staff of experienced triathlon coaches who can maximize the effectiveness of your workouts and your training time. Our full-time professional coaches are held to coaching and customer service standards that exceed those of the national governing bodies, and they are constantly engaged in our continuing education curriculum so they stay at the leading edge of science.
